DECONSTRUCTED HAMBURGER
Relevant Savon Product:
INGREDIENTS
-1 pound ground beef 80% meat 20% fat
-1 tablespoon onion (grated)
-salt & pepper to taste
-BBQ or ketchup sauce (4 tablespoons)
-4 burger buns
-Toppings of your choice (onion, cheese, tomato, lettuce)
INSTRUCTIONS
1) Mix beef, onion and BBQ or ketchup in a bowl just until combined. Remember that with the BBQ you are getting a more smoked flavor, meanwhile the ketchup it’s just to help the beef to stick.
2) Shape into 4 patties. Using your thumb, create an indent in the center of each burger.
3) Put it on the fridge for at least 20 minutes before cooking them.
To Grill
1) Preheat grill to medium heat.
2) Season the outside of the burgers with salt & pepper to taste.
3) Cook burgers about 4-6 minutes per side. Then let them rest for 5 minutes. You can also cook them in the oven on a medium hear for 5 to 6 minutes per side.
4) Put the buns, toppings and cooked hamburger into your board, you can serve it “deconstructed” so everyone can put the toppings as they desire.
